Terminal Attack Control Training Assistant (TACTA)
The role of an TACTA is to assist RSAF instructors during the conduct of the Terminal Attack Control (TAC) Course. The course aims to equip Army Ground Forward Air Controller (GFAC) trainees with the skills to direct and call in air power to support the ground battle. A TACTA will first be qualified as a GFAC before assisting instructors in coaching GFAC trainees during the academic, simulator, and live control phases of the course.
